Woman Rider

Many of our customers are women, from the grandmother buying a Halfwheeler to ride with a grandchild to the collegiate racer and triathlete. In between are all the bikes we sell for friends riding to Saugatuck, around Spring Lake or along Lakeshore Drive.

Besides bikes, we have women’s clothing; helmets, shoes, shorts and jerseys (and a changing room), comfortable saddles and puncture resistant tires.

Many women show up for our scheduled rides. In addition to rides from our store, we promote and have information on women’s rides in the area.

We have advanced, comfortable and beautiful bikes from Giant designed for women.

Have ROCK ‘n’ ROAD Cycle perform a complete FIT KIT. Men have short stubby legs with long arms and torsos. Their bikes do not fit most women. The staff at ROCK 'n' ROAD Cycle can make your bike fit or make sure your new bike will fit just like your favorite jeans!

Road

We have the best road, road racing and triathlon bikes in the world from Giant, Jamis and Salsa. The Giant TCR is the most advanced composite frame and comes in the very affordable Alliance version.  Most of the staff rides one, and it’s a big favorite with our customers too.  The new Avail / Defy offers long ride comfort with race bike efficiency and “road feel”.  Salsa and Surly offers several more “niche” models. Jamis road bikes are a bit more traditional and cover a wide range of prices.  Please check our reviews page. 

And even the best road bike is no good if it doesn’t fit.  We’ve tailored the size of our bikes to hundreds of our riders for over 20 years using The Fit Kit.

Giant's hydroformed aluminum frames are the best strength-to-weight platforms around. Real components too; SRAM, Truvativ, Mavic, Hayes, Easton, Race Face and WTB. For something completely different there's Salsa Dos Niner (29") or Juan Solo (single speed).
